Looks like animated weights weren't supported in the original sample, so they aren't supported in Aardvark yet. You could probably do a similar animation with scale and translation... if (source.target_path...

"weights" is how GLTF animates a mesh using morph targets.

This may need to wait for #11. Adding morph targets to the existing "engine" would be a bunch of work.

They are not exposed. Neither are positions or orientation for that matter. There's no way for a gadget to figure out where it is... it's just has a parent grabber,...

2, 3, and 4 are much better now, IMHO. I would love to hear your thoughts. 1 still needs some work. The gear icon is kind of in the way.

At some point those messages will be locked down so the old message formats will need to be supported forever. That seems like the best way forward here. All gadgets...

Any gadget could auto-launch itself when the user opens that page in the browser. It would have the same vulnerability to protocol changes that you describe.

You would likely need to pull in a whole lot of files from aardvark-react for that to work. What bits of aardvark-react aren't public that you wanted to use? And...

I suspect the model needs to have its transforms frozen..
