Hi, it's looks like a connection issue, have you tried this approch? https://docs.pisugar.com/docs/product-wiki/battery/faq#1-why-pisugar-is-not-able-to-power-raspberry-pi-why-pisugar-23-cannot-be-detected-on-i2c-bus

Hi, for the contact problem of i2c please check the first item of FAQ: https://github.com/PiSugar/PiSugar/wiki/FAQ#1-why-pisugar-is-not-able-to-power-raspberry-pi-why-pisugar-23-cannot-be-detected-on-i2c-bus

Ok. In this case you may contact our product support via email for replacement.

Please try install using the new command in README. It will compiled locally on your pi.

PiSugar3 has kernel driver support. For more details, please refer to https://github.com/PiSugar/pisugar-power-manager-rs/blob/74de74a0449fded35f080b9ab5cfdee076facb2a/pisugar-module/pisugar-3 As for PiSugar2, due to some communication issues with I2C, it doesn't support the kernel yet.

You're right, the I2C communication shouldn't affect the implementation of the kernel module. I'm discussing this with my colleagues and will work on implementing kernel support for PiSugar2 as soon...

Kernel module for PiSugar2 is available here: https://github.com/PiSugar/pisugar-power-manager-rs/tree/master/pisugar-module/pisugar-2

It sounds like the camera might indeed be drawing more power than expected, especially considering the PiSugar's power limits 5V3A. The official Rpi adapter offers 5V5A max.
