From what I can see, I think you got the exact same error I got. You just took a different path to get to it (my crash log is shorter)....

It actually is possible to do so. If you use "Linear period / frequency" (Module > Module Properties... > Pitch Mode), you can make certain notes have a P90-P91 effect,...

Hmm... I still find the Pxx effect way to do it more effective. It doesn't have that 96-note restriction. But I suppose this is another way too.
