It's a little unclear from your post. Are you using the Google Drive desktop app and KeePass's File->Open->"Open File" dialog? Or are you using the File->Open->"Open from Cloud Drive" dialog?

You mean CTL+ALT+o for "Open from Cloud"? Looks like this is hard-coded: https://github.com/Kyrodan/KeeAnywhere/blob/ebeb344177353ad663e1d0270920f7ca057b737c/KeeAnywhere/KeeAnywhereExt.cs#L99 So no way to turn off or change.
