The tutorial intentionally pins itself to a known-good version, and should be fully tested (preferably with `-Wall -Wextra`) with a given version before listing it.
I personally prefer that rule as "one sentence, one line". That correlates the two logical units, and commas, especially spliced, tend to create groups too short.
I was thinking the versus mode could outright be a deathmatch, with an "opposing ship" actor controlled by the other console.
GB serial is super low latency, so that's not a problem.
