for instance, if the time difference is less than 10 minutes, the script shoud force to "minutely" diff

We should be able to set an time overlap for the diff (for the first import ?) and check that no data is missing.

If something happens in the sub-process osmupdate or imposm, the python script should handle the problem nicely.

Support for OSM metadata

I tried to find in the documentation how to import metadata about version number, last user, timestamp in my database schema. Is-it possible to do that with Imposm3 ? Thanks
