There is a config option for that. Please search for `ItemShortcut` in the config, you will find an `Enabled` there, change that to `false`.
Sounds like there was an update queued in the updates folder. Shutdown your server, delete the jar in plugins and plugins/update and start your server again.
[v2.4.32](https://github.com/GeorgH93/Minepacks/releases/download/v2.4.32/Minepacks-2.4.31.7-Release.jar) added the `UseDynamicTitle` config option, change that to false.
