the suggestion of @spite does not work. I'm struggling with saving just one .png with this library also. Trying to find out how.... hopefully I will get this working.

I'm busy with this issue also. I will try to rebuild Neo4J with the same version of the GeoTools I have in my rebuilded Geoserver 2.17-snapshot.

Now I do put in the Neo4J server plugin builded from the Neo4J source: neo4j-spatial-0.26.2-neo4j-3.5.2-server-plugin.jar

\Tomcat\webapps\geoserver\WEB-INF\lib\neo4j-spatial-0.26.2-neo4j-3.5.2-server-plugin.jar restart Tomcat. :-)
