in that case, wouldn't it make more sense for ore to only be eligible to spawn on loose rock? but either way, it diminishes the advantage of better mining tools...

i dig it. might be better to use bluespace crystals instead of gibtonite so miners aren't specifically required to go to lavaland (or find the one volcanic asteroid) to obtain...
