Proper error reporting was added to Open TV. Errors that are not shown in the UI are also logged in $XDG_CACHE_HOME

The solution is to allow the user to disable save on quit on vods, then your setting on mpv.conf will be respected.

Would probably require a re-design of the channels tile, if someone can submit some UI designs I'd be more than glad to look at it.
