It's not, I have discussed this on the Discord server.
It doesn't make sense to cache values that are constantly changing.
I don't think there is anything I can do, it detects if the player is in said dimension and checks if it matches the declared skybox files.

Trajectory wise it is(in terms of speeding up and slowing down like sun/moon trajectory), the speed they use a different formula.
