When upgrading rooms, messages from the old room version get swallowed. It would be nice if that didn't happen.

Double clicking is the most reliable way to reproduce. This suggests an incorrect path / range finding behavior.
The expected behavior is to pick the first range and highlight that, but even that doesn't seem to happen.
