@askras, ИМХО 3й вариант предпочтительный.

Я в переводе интерфейса использую и тот, и тот перевод. Иначе как-то не читабельно выходит "фиксация" как существительное. "1 коммит" vs "1 фиксация" - коммит выигрывает. Но пишу "зафиксировать изменения".
