You are assuming that if somebody wants to seek to the middle of a video while watching at 2x speed, they want to seek to the middle of time elapsed...

I've just checked with youtube and increasing the playback speed also does not change what clicking into the middle of the seekbar does. Just because you don't like it doesn't...

I can reproduce that switching audio channels makes the video playback lag temporarily in a really odd way, in version `0.34.0-68-g21cdc713bc`

Tested on an AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 3700U, appears to work (with usual no osc/osd caveats) on Weston aside from fullscreening refusing to cover Weston's launcher bar. KWin seemingly lacks...
