Issue concerning motherboard.json file generation has been fixed in 0.21.1.1. In the mean time, the work around is to: - Close HC - Delete mydocuments/handheldcompanion/cache/motherboard.json - Open HC again Closing...

Can make profiles with Notepad++ just fine. Empty .json files name being created is a different bug #1053
