@oresch I just had the same issue - I solved by copying the entire templates folder from `/myProject/vendor/maiconpinto/cakephp-adminlte-theme` into `/myProject/plugins/CustomAdminLTE` and then in AppController beforeRender set the theme to CustomAdminLTE....
