I concur, I'm on latest Firefox version 108.0.2 (64-bit), and this feature doesn't do anything.
The problem with YouTubeExplode is that it allows you get the Videos of a Channel, the videos of a Playlist, or a specific Video, just by the ID or url....

Hey, Came out of hybernation, hotkey not working. I just tried toggling the "Hotket Enabled" on Recording Devices (which is Ctrl+Alt+F7), instead of Playback devices, then closing the settings window....
