If that's true, how come that launching the program with the GUI does seem to be using Wayland? Could there be another reason why the program behaves differently graphically when...
I find this bug especially frustrating when trying to open the Mail application:   
@TisnKu thanks! The input lowers the value to `1000`, but that also works. The mail app is now the top item and I'm happy :D
