It sounds like it's because you have some arguments colliding with core function names. But it's a bit weird that there is no other output than that

there is no valid build that is not "expired", so unfortunately, I can try this fix by manually updating the deb. Any pointer beside compiling it myself?

I have the same issue. It looks like the ruby script fails to require deps
