Doesn't `Ctl-Shift-N` (or `Cmd` on Mac) re-open whatever window you just closed, with all its tabs intact?
@vaxul I believe it will still work once you've re-opened Firefox. If you have Firefox configured to restore tabs on startup, you won't even need the shortcut.
