Regarding playspace reset, this has been implemented in https://github.com/galister/wlx-overlay-s/pull/72 and default bindings have been setup in https://github.com/galister/wlx-overlay-s/pull/191 . The ticket may still have a purpose regarding other OVRAS features, though....
