`SteamVR Settings > Controllers > Show Bindings UI`, to see this you will have to toggle `Advanced Settings` on in the bottom left. Otherwise it is under `Manage Controller Bindings`...
This is already pretty basic, if you haven't been in the SteamVR settings yet, you should really get in there and get familiarized.
You never posted what you saw in there though? Which bindings were in use?
As this is a hobby project I am not paying to have code signing, perhaps your system prevents unsigned executables from running? I don't use Windows 11 myself as SteamVR...

No, I mean inside the bindings. You need to edit the bindings (which according to the screenshot you have done before) and show what buttons are bound to which actions.
This all looks right, so... what happens when you run it, with the SteamVR dashboard hidden, and then press buttons on the controllers? You haven't actually explained what you have...
Yeah I have no idea. The bindings look OK. Have you tried having a SteamVR game running at the same time?
