buildingSMART has some specification of what the different exchange requirements are supposed to do: (https://standards.buildingsmart.org/MVD/RELEASE/IFC4/ADD2_TC1/RV1_2/HTML/schema/views/reference-view/index.htm)
We've identified this issue and hope to have a fix in a future update.
This is on our roadmap. I do have some UI questions about this. Is the expectation that you would have an IFC2x3 mapping, an IFC4 mapping, an IFC4.3 mapping, etc.?...
