So it was the default instrument that does not work on the Vic system! Anyway, I think forcing octave 3 is not needed, and also a bit of a pain....

I believe it is connected to the string type, having a comma in a string causes problems. Possibly some other characters do also. mystring: string = ("!@#$%^&*()-=_+[]:;?,./~");

BTW select the AUX red pen (from pens above) and it draws in RED Multicolour fat pixels correctly. It is just hi-res Red that does not work.. Change the AUX...
