Had the same issue. Found something online. Use v093 and use mode 5. And it works

It froze on me after the cutscene. So I installed it through smb. also used mode 5. Runs perfectly. And no idea about mode 5. Miami vice had the same...

Actually didn't notice mode 1 was on. Works so it's cool.

Think I got my copy off pureroms. Came on bin format. Used opl manager to rewrite to iso. USB extreme to install to C drive. Moved it with USB utility...
