While we wait for Zotero to develop [their own in-house dark mode](https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/comment/430369/#Comment_430369), a fix for this is to open the note in the main library tab, switch dark mode off...
Zotero 7.0.0-beta.40+24ae34104 (64-bit). Zotero Night version 0.1.0-1. Windows 11 Pro. Do you mean the epub reader doesn't have dark mode capability yet? That would certainly explain it haha!
