I see this too, arguments `-p1` and `-p0` don't help. I can clearly see the files _do_ exist, so I don't understand why Gazelle is upset.
I also see this behaviour on Arch Linux. I imagine this is because of how Chromium interacts with Wayland and would need to be fixed upstream really. https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=998903
