Find the hosts file on your pc, right click, select properties, unselect the checkbox that says read-only
this could be an issue with G-Mem, does G-Mem give you any errors of missing dependencies?

I don't know if you can run gui applications in docker, but g-earth has the functionalities to start it in the command line and specify connection mode/host/port. At that point...
Seems like you don't have javaFX installed, oracle jdk 8 should have this by default
