@kazjote I can confirm that's the case on OS X 10.10 as well.

As @Thomas1Bunting mentioned, enable "accessibility" for Hammerspoon in OS X.

@bbozo PR #401 has 3 failing tests on my machine and in travis-ci, so I guess there's some more work to do.

It didn't do anything. I tired removing everything in the original snippets folder except this snippet which resulted in an empty snippets folder in the output bin.
