Thanks for the PR, but this isn't necessary. 3.0.1 is **automatically** used by semver. I will merge when we have other changes to make on this library.

@keenwon, this probably won't make a difference since you're using `nvm`, but if you feel like hacking around to see if this works, you could try changing the path logic...
