Btw. I just noticed that the callback would also need to pass the right path for UNC paths (i.e., prefixed with `prefix)/`) and the trailing slash needs to be dropped...

Eclipse shows some warning, but I think it also makes the code better readable.

Please also add test cases for the cases that must not happen.
