The issue is that you can press the home button while you are in another app and returning to TBLauncher. It would be confusing imho.

I'm not a big fan of swiping. Why do you need more gestures? Can we solve your need in some other way?

The menu that appears when you want to add a widget is the default one provided by Android. I'll look into making it custom and probably look like the menu...
