Might be not exactly what you want, but using [ZnTrack](https://github.com/zincware/ZnTrack) you can dynamically construct a `dvc.yaml` and thus can achieve what you are looking for. Disclaimer: I am the author...

This should be investigated in same and different token scenarios.

Maybe have `/` and `/token/` but that is a bit confusing, because token interally is called room. Maybe rename it `room` in general?

I have written this very crude https://github.com/zincware/rclone-filesystem package. Combining it with a GIT based fsspec filesystem could enable the functionality I would be interested in.

Also test that groups / node names can not contain illegal characters, such as ` ` blank space
