Do the update notifications from deb gnome-software work on Ubuntu?

I think that the information about "flatpak update" could be added into the Manual Install details on Flathub.org. You can try creating a ticket about it [here](https://github.com/flathub/website/issues).

I agree, however on the other hand adding workarounds and additional information into the quick setup steps just because some distribution has broken Flatpak support is also not ideal, at...

This should ideally be discussed with Purism and their developers/package maintainers. Adding things like "disable the [replace with a distro name] repository" to our setup pages is not a good...

Distro's own remotes should have higher priority than Flathub. This is correct. Broken and outdated software in distro's remotes is not. This however needs to be talked with PureOS maintainers....

It is [GNOME Software](https://apps.gnome.org/app/org.gnome.Software/). Sadly, Ubuntu has its own [fork](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fork_(software_development)) that is distributed as a [Snap](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snap_(software)) and does not have Flatpak support. Two Software apps are definitely a bad thing...

There is sadly no usable logo available on that website. Also, [the favicon](https://assets.ubuntu.com/v1/49a1a858-favicon-32x32.png) of that page still has the "old" logo, so it is probably not a big deal.

Thanks for reporting the issue! This should ideally be resolved on the Flathub side. I may be wrong, but I thought that the `dl.` subdomain was preferred over just `flathub.org`...

@Psycojoker Is this still a problem?

Thanks for the quick PR! This will however need more testing to find out whether the new logo does look good on the setup page.
