I've created a node module [`process-tree`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/process-tree) that works cross-platform. The documentation consists of just a code example, but it should be simple to use. It uses [`wmic`](https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa394531(v=vs.85).aspx) on Windows.
