Meanwhile I have found a solution: I think I followed what you both suggested, but for me it was a bit hard at first :) I have split the docker_build_with_restart()...

Hi @lizzthabet , for reference and for help to others, I try to put here my solution... although my Tiltfiles are much more complicated than this, and full of tricks....

I wrote my bash unit test framework 10 years ago... but now for the new project I am working on, I wanted to take someone elses work and try it......

I just want to chime in, as we have the same issue: Our helm chart is so big and we seem to have huge repos, that a "helm repo update"...
