Should be possible to install without Visual Studio requirement

visual studio is just an easy way to get the proper packages, according to the instructions; you don't actually need visual studio itself.

I've tried nearly everything in here to get it to work on my D:\ drive. Has anyone had any luck with actually successfully installing it anywhere but C:\?

Error after i try to make "npx dalai install 7B", after the "try pulling"

How did you end up resolving this?
