Could you please integrate the project with Weblate, Transifex or Localise.com? That will significantly simplify translation. The hosted Weblate have some pre-moderation, the Transifex has not so friendly interface but...

The app metadata in PlayStore is translated in the app/locale/playstore But on the F-Droid store this not implemented. It looks like we need to use the Fastlane for this https://f-droid.org/en/docs/All_About_Descriptions_Graphics_and_Screenshots/#
