@harryhoch this is not needed for IMPC since we have all the phenotype labels from their JSON, which makes things lot easier in terms of the number of function calls...

It looks like those 11 phenotypes are used to render the phenogrid view. I don't see it does anything with variants. 

@kshefchek Just some rough ideas. Instead of using the `` tag to wrap up each panel, can you try to just use a `` with a calss, for example: `panel`....
