The latest version https://github.com/yousseb/meld/releases/tag/osx-13 Should now be exactly as the Linux version. I was finally able to get rid of the wrapper script.

Latest 3.19 release fixes this issue - should be much smaller now.

Gtk/Quartz is not receiving that much attention from the Gtk team. I'm hoping (crossing fingers) that the Gtk team will be implementing a Metal backend. In the meantime, I'm planning...

As of this build https://github.com/yousseb/meld/releases/tag/osx-13 meld should act exactly as it would in Linux. No wrapper script involved anymore. Please verify and let me know.

Just pushed an update that also refreshes meld from upstream / updated toolchain / moved to python 3.. Lots of stuff really. Had to (re)build the toolchain about five times...
