Might be better to detect the environment automatically and set the address accordingly. This is a detail the user shouldn't be aware of.

A delay on startup is a non-issue.

We should not support a non-configurable flag for images. Please choose a more descriptive name than `variant`, which to me gives associations to COVID :)
