You may wan't to check your Namespaces. I had the same error and after fixing the namespaces of MyCustomWebSocketHandler it's not throwing this error anymore.

If I read the source code correctly: my issue depends on this: https://github.com/jsdom/jsdom/issues/2475 Can anybody confirm this?
