Unfortunately, the latest changes are only for Gtk 3.14, which as far as I know is not available on Linux Mint 17. I will setup a branch for previous versions...

This is an Ubuntu specific problem that also occurs in other themes such as Numix, unfortunately. Not sure how to fix this.

This happens because the app is using @theme_selected_bg_color to override everything for whatever reason which means I'd kind of have to restructure the entire theme to make it work :(
