I think I've found a possible answer There is an option in the function [export_color_images](https://github.com/ScanNet/ScanNet/blob/2c2f8003e6f4eb122dc96bcb2e072f9813fc73ab/SensReader/python/SensorData.py#L89) to set the resolution of exported colour images.

Thanks @tangjiapeng, I can see the batch size in `generate_optim_largescene.py` is set to 1 so I don't think it's the issue with large batch size. I did try to downsample...

This problem might need to be diagnosed with more intermediate results. How are the predicted color and depth maps? (generated with the `render_freq` option)
