I believe I have this fixed for v1.16.0, but due to a lot of personal stuff going on it's taking a while to complete.

I would recommend turning on `DDC/CI Features -> Get Current Brightness`. That may help with the issue.

Try toggling `DDC/CI Features -> Get Current Brightness` on (or off if it's on) and see if that helps.
