The latest version of opencv don't include the old CV interface. There is a pull request to use this version but haven't had time to review it as there are...
Please remove gitignore changes and we can merge.
I think once this is resolved we need to get a docker container built so it's consistent and stop messing around with the "works on my machine" problem.
