@steveward vacation time, sorry for the delay and sorry for that wrong link, can't find it in my history. Anyway... Just updated to 3.2.4-beta1 without a change. VS Code works...

It was related to Avira. I had to disable scanning network drives and shares, that fixed it. Will be slow again if enabled, double checked it. Anyway, now it works....
