Just came back to the game after a 4 month break and it started happening, if possible i might downgrade to an earlier version and see if the bug is...

alright i downgraded to 2.0.0+1.21 and the bug isn't there if your controller is supported on that version and it fits the mod pack you're creating/playin then play on that...
