The [4.3.0 beta](https://github.com/utmapp/UTM/releases/tag/v4.3.0) includes qemu 8 and makes this problem go away for me.

Yup, same: running with podman on RHEL9

It should be changed to `/etc/insights-client/machine-id`, not `/etc/machine-id`. The file `/etc/machine-id` is part of the systemd RPM, and has nothing to do with Insights.

I tried rolling back to earlier versions today, to see if that would help, but it doesn't. I had this working, too. Please let us know what you need in...
