there's a cover for animation in [figma community file](https://www.figma.com/community/file/1138254942249677742), so maybe they are/were planning on doing it 
youtube mp4s are in uncommon format, so less advanced players can't play them properly (#5)
pretty sure any modern browser can play them just fine

cant do anything about it aside from recommending to use another device that respects your browser choice
